Mother and Child aims to address this through effective partnership with hospitals to provide adequate antenatal and postnatal care. Women also need to be empowered to be agents of change in their own situations and the goal is to help the process along through business.

PROGRAMMES
Giving Life
This programme is designed for women who are pregnant and cannot afford to seek adequate healthcare during their pregnancy. Pregnancy is a blessing, but many women cannot enjoy their journey due to the financial constraints they face. Giving Life aims to support women with adequate antenatal care throughout their pregnancy, this will allow for early detection of any problems in the pregnancy and prevent early miscarriages and other health related challenges that may be faced during pregnancy.
Giving Life will also provide support during the birth of the baby as well as postnatal support to ensure that both mother and baby are healthy after the delivery which will decrease maternal and infant mortality.
Women in Business
Women are the cornerstone of every family and when you empower a woman you empower a community. This programme aims to use community engagement amongst women as a tool to educate and uplift women from challenging circumstances that do not allow for them to be economically emancipated. The programme will host seminars for women to develop their businesses and have supportive hubs. Inspirational mentors will be identified to give the aspiring businesswomen practical success guidelines.
